Undertone is T d l M’s debut ready-to-wear range for Spring Summer 2009, a beguiling capsule range of mens and womenswear focusing on contemporary, neo-classic designs of loosely structured silhouettes. Finding inspiration from the draped forms of the 1920’s and the ominous world of the Quay brothers: a clean, muted colour palette from the Quay sensibility forms the basis of the line, consisting of desirable separates. SS08 was presented at London’s Fashion Scout via the medium of film. The animation / film showed a view into the world of Theatre de la Mode, made by James Moore of Spicer and Moore.
