The spring/summer 2010 collection is inspired by 1930’s gentlemen’s leisure wear with colour taken from the African Finch. This season TdLM continue to develop their oversized signature look, brought up to date with the use of cylindrical lines, heavy drape and drawstring gathering. The range incorporates a refreshing palette, mixing tangerine, oatmeal, acid orange and coral.
Once again TdlM have generated great interest by presenting the collection in an alternative format. Heavily influenced by the energetic style of the nineties and African dance they have collaborated with directors Kathryn Ferguson and Lung to create a fashion/dance film. The soundtrack for the film was written and produced by Mike Lindsey and Jon Hopkins. Domino records are set to release the film’s score as the lead track to Jon Hopkins latest EP “Seven Gulps of Air”.
T d l M’s SS10 collection was shown at the Freemasons’ House, Covent Garden, as part of London Fashion Scout.
